Bring your puppy in as soon as they're 10 weeks old. We'll give you a clear plan and walk you through it, so the next decade with your dog feels easy instead of exhausting.

Life Skills

Training that holds up in the real world. For dogs 4 months and older.

You've probably already tried. A class, some YouTube videos, treats in your pocket on every walk. Your dog still pulls, still ignores you when it counts, still bolts the second the front door opens.

That doesn't mean your dog is broken. It means the training never made it out of the living room.

Here's what we do differently. We start with the basics. Coming when called. Walking on a loose leash. Responding the first time you say their name. We teach you how to take those skills out of the class room and into the real world: sidewalks with squirrels, front doors with guests, the park on a Saturday morning.

By the time you're done, you're not hoping your dog will listen. You know they will!

Every part of this facility exists for one reason: to give you and your dog the best possible training experience.

Our facility gives you space, comfort, and a great place to focus on your dog.

We have lots of room for you to walk your dog before class. Then step into one of our four large training halls built specifically for teaching reliability and good manners.

Are you thinking about some more advanced training?  Take the next step into our 12,000-square-foot sports arena, featuring high-quality artificial turf and regulation equipment, the same environment used by members of Team Canada when preparing for world-level agility competitions.

Human spectators are always welcome, just reach out for details.

The McCann Method® has evolved, and with it, the facility has become world-class. Originally in school gyms and community centres, McCann Professional Dog Trainers now sits on 21 beautiful acres in the heart of Flamborough. In addition to the main building, which holds 3 large, air-conditioned training halls, there is a 12,000 sq. ft. sports arena with top-quality artificial grass and modern regulation equipment. Agility trials are also held year-round in our facility.
