Dogs and puppies can be chewing machines. There are many reasons that we want our dogs to chew – it’s an excellent pastime, wonderful for cleaning teeth and expending energies. Of course, it goes without saying that we want them to chew appropriate things. Our couches, shoes and other belongings should be off limits when it comes to chewing.
Proper supervision and management are a must with a young dog. In addition, to keep dogs safe, there are a few rules of thumb that we recommend.
