Grade 1 is an obedience training class that enables the dog owner to gain control over the family dog.

It’s for dogs that have attended the Head Start program or are just starting their obedience training.

This 9-week course has a total class time of 14 and ½ hours. Most lessons last 1 and ½ hours and include a question and answer period. All family members are welcome to attend.

Your dog learns to:

• Come the first time, every time, even when distracted - a life-saving skill
• Sit while greeting guests & not to jump up
• Sit stay even when distracted.
• Lie down & stay as long as 30 minutes
• Walk on leash happily without pulling
• Play & then settle down on command
